Are you curious about the baby names that will be everywhere in 2025? Well, get ready, because the latest trends are in, and some familiar favorites are holding strong! BabyCenter has just unveiled its list of the most popular baby names for newborns in the coming year, and the results are quite interesting.
Olivia continues its reign as the queen of girls' names, maintaining its top spot for another year. It seems parents just can't get enough of this classic choice! Similarly, Noah remains the king of the boys' names, holding onto the number one position, just like in 2024.
And the plot thickens! The names in the number two spots also remain unchanged: Amelia for the girls and Liam for the boys. Talk about consistency!
But here's where it gets interesting... While the top names are consistent, there are some exciting newcomers shaking things up in the top 10. For the girls, Eliana and Aurora have burst onto the scene, making their debut in the coveted top tier.
The boys' list also saw a shake-up. Luca made a triumphant return, after vanishing from last year's rankings, pushing Leo out of the top spots.
BabyCenter compiled these rankings based on data from over 350,000 babies born to parents registered on their app. This gives us a pretty solid snapshot of what's trending in baby names.
So, what do you think of these choices? Do you love the classics, or are you excited about the new additions? Are you surprised by any of the names on the list? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
